About Us
A student-led literary journal founded in 2014, The Wells Street Journal is passionate about creating a space for rising artists to showcase their work.

Our Story
The Wells Street Journal is a London-based biannual literary anthology of poetry and prose run by both Creative Writing MA and Professional Writing MA students at the University of Westminster. Founded in 2014, it was aptly named after the street on which the Department of English, Linguistics, and Cultural Studies was previously hosted.
The students involved in producing this literary anthology are dedicated to showcasing a variety of styles by writers from unique and diverse backgrounds. The journal is a platform for sharing work of their own as well as contributions from external writers. We all see the world through different lenses, but the written word has the power to bring us together.
